やってくる【やって来る】

1 〔近づいて来る〕 come (along, round, up to…); (姿を見せる) make one's appearance; put in an appearance; turn [show] up; show oneself; arrive.

・彼は二度とやってこなかった. He never turned up again.

・ほどなく彼女がやってきた. She arrived before long.

・突然田舎の父がやってきた. My father suddenly turned up from the country.
